Gung Hay Fat Choy - Today marks the beginning of Chinese New Year!

This afternoon the class saw a performance by Speed Control a band that promotes music education through exploring the history of rock. It was a very engaging performance :)

On Feb. 19th we will return to the act to see a french film funded by CPF called Hugo Cabret.

Cypress Mountain field trip on Wed. Feb. 5th - Students are reminded to be at school by 8:15 am.

Novel study activities due on Tuesday.

French Speeches are now handed in and will be marked and returned over the next week. Good copy will be put on index cards to be practiced. In-class French Public Speaking will take place during the last week of February.

"We are love" buttons on sale for $2.00 each Feb. 3-7 at recess and lunch to be delivered on Feb. 14th. Proceeds go towards Student Coucil`s goal to build a school in Haiti.

Next field trip is on Friday. Grade 4 and 5 students are taking a school bus to the Act for a musical performance from 11:45- 2:00.
